WOW! could it be a Jaehorn? They have some of the strangest colors of all breeds so it could be anything.

Nope, not a Jaerhon, I have 5 of those and she looks nothing like them. They have a striped pattern on them.

i know i said kraienkoppe but it don't have yellow legs. all my kraienkoppes had yellow legs. the pic in your avatar looks like a bb red cubalaya . the other pic, the feathers don't look right for bb red.

Actually, she does have yellow legs. I have been looking at all the pictures of Kraienkoppes since I read your message and I remembered why I didn't go with that choice, she has a pea comb and they have walnut. This is getting frustrating. I do think that she has some very similar qualities of the balck breasted variety.

Judging from the down color of the chick, and the slight mottling in the juvenile feathers, that bird is going to feather out spangled, and more than likely a male. Hard to say what breed, but I had a thai game chick hatch out that was colored like yours and it is spangled.
