UPDATED w/pics still needing advice - skin on head is red

Anyone have advice? Still have not noticed anything else going on and it's getting close to 24hrs. Even if you think I'm nuts, I'd like some reassurance. Thanks

Honestly, they seem perfectly fine to me. It might be the weather and the fact that it's signalling them to hurry and grow up so they can begin laying. If a chicken is running around drinking and gobbling up food like a little pig, I don't worry. Pretty soon those areas will be really red. I remember I had one hen whose ears I'd noticed were turning WHITE. I was told it was the breed. Normally, ears are red though. I pretty much gauge how well my chickens are doing by the redness of their combs, wattles, and (in general) ears. They're growing up right now. Some people call them teenagers at that age. Things are a little awkward but they're growing up.
