Not sure where else to post this, but wanted to share that I weighed the flock today after NOT weighing them for almost five months! There is definitely some error in my method of weigh self, pick up chicken, weigh again method, but overall they seem pretty good. It appears ALL of them have gained weight, buy I don't think that's true. A couple feel lean across the breast, despite the slight gain. I check for bloated back ends almost obsessively, so I'm not too worried. Only slightly worried about Bridgette, who has not laid in FOREVER, but has definitely gotten her hormones back after her winter break, and Ruby, who doesn't seem to be laying, either.
