UPDATED: What are the survival odds- not good

Chicks shipped out Wednesday at noon from Ideal (verified by phone call). Chicks aren't here on Thursday... and no phone call Friday AM... read on... update at end.

So it didn't work... here it is 11am and so I called the post office again. The express mail came and went, but nobody saw and chick packages. They MIGHT, big might, get in another shipment of stuff in late afternoon, but not usually. So this means my chicks won't come until tomorrow morning. This will make them in the mail from Wednesday at noon until Saturday... .3DAYS. What are the odds of them actually surviving 3 days in the mail?

Good, unless it very cold or hot. I've had 4 day shipped with one DOA, but I gave them sugar water and kept a close eye on them. they were fine

Call where they were shipped from make sure they were shipped, that could be why there late.

i thought i was told they can go 72hrs. but that would be pushing it. i hope you ordered enough to afford a few casualties.

Did Ideal say that they shipped them on wed? Aren't they really good about shipping?

They can be good about shipping- but once the post office has them it's their ballgame

They arrived this morning (Saturday) Not all made it... Still have 4 of 7 I ordered and managed to find homes for all of the packing peanuts already.
