Uploading an avatar! HELP!

Hey, has anyone figured out how to upload an avatar? For some reason I can't get it figured out because each time I try it just says "image size too large" Can anyone help?

Yep Miss_Jayne has a thread about sizing avatars.... dont know for sure which section it is in though..... try the search engine and put her name in and it will sow you all her posts etc. Good luck,

select the picture that you what, go to 'uploads' upload it
select 'resize' one of the sizes is 'avatar'
after it is uploaded save the picture to your desktop and then upload the desktop picture as an avatar.
