Uploading videos to threads

I would like to insert videos onto my thread posts without going through youtube or vimeo. Kind of uploading a picture from my files. I dont think there's a way to this on BYC, (nor to I have any idea how hard/ easy it would be to add this feature on the forum) but just wanted to share my thought.

We unfortunately don't have a video upload like we have for picture uploads. Youtube and vimeo, or similar services are your best options at this point.
