Our little blue laced red has a little raspiness in her throat. A little sneeze and some yawning too. We’ve got her separated from the flock. What else can we do?
Yawning can sometimes be a sign of adjusting their crop. An occasional sneeze can be normal, and might be from mild irritation of the nostrils from a piece of feed, dust in the feed, ammonia odors, or pollen. I would put her back with her flock so she is not distressed, but watch for any watery eyes or eye bubbles, or more constant sneezing, and any lethargy. Make sure that she is eating and drinking.
