upper respitory infection, help meds arent working

I dont know but they are getting lincomycin sp? now so hopefully they'll get better quickly. They look a little better today though

Lol right but they go through like 2 gallons of water right now. I have about 15 birds maybe?

I have no idea how much 15 birds should drink. The only med I put in the water is Corid, but I will also give that orally as I am really paranoid about medicating properly.

Ok cool so 7 days of. Antibiotics and no withdrawl period. Thank you I couldnt find the answer to that anywhere

Ok I have a question. The hens are all doing well, seem to be fine now. Have been that way for last few days, but 3 are still not getting much of anywhere. Should I keep them all on meds or just seperate the ones still sick? The others are acting completely normal

What my vets have told me is that medication should be given for a few days after symptoms cease, so once your others are at that point I would only treat the visibly sick ones. Long term use of antibiotics can open the door for other infections, like yeast.
