they are such handsome boys......I wish I could adopt them :<((( It stinks not being able to keep roos. I am trying with 1 little banty MF cochin right now but he is crowing his silly head off at EVERY noise in my yard. Me even opening my back door till he hears me calling his name. Doing his job well ......but so WELL he will likely have to be garage kept or re-homed.:<(Wish me luck.

oh and the eggs I gave you are Split lavs-they will be black chicks when hatched out-its only when you cross those you have a 25% chance of pure lave being hatched-the rest will be black again:)

I do have one of each yes and you could take your pic of the three above. They are all nice birds from Nat's eggs. I can take a weekend to albany no problem and see my Nana... I'd even do an overnight, she'd love to see me and I can get a good home for these sweeties...

That is a gvery enerous offer. grab it up if possible!

Oh, I know it is

Just lost one of the little cochins I got at the May Chickestock. Not a clue what happened - she was fine this afternoon. 13 weeks old and beautiful. I hate chickens sometimes, the way they drop dead on you.

So, will anyone have any good LF cochins in October?

I have none:-( I sold out of them...All I have left is a black LF cochin hen-Im keeping her for a project:)

SO a lady down the road I sold straight run chicks to has one of my splash orps thats a roo and Im trading one of my hens for my roo back! haha can you believe it I have to trade a hen for a roo-never thought Id have to do that..I would have rather had a blue orp roo but I do have a blue orp pullet to keep the coloring going so we'll see?

Got any pictures of them-mine I can tell for sure are girls
