Does anyone have a serious interest in button quail? If so I have several seperated breeding sets that I could hatch from, or I could bring eggs. If anyone wants some I'd throw them in the bator this weekend so they were basically grown out and producing by Chickenstock. Any takers?

Nat, I hate to tell you, but at least one of the splash orps I got from you started to crow today. The other is starting to look like him with the longer saddle feathers. Why can't I ever get really nice birds without them being roos or dying?! Gretchen, I think the darker BLR, the one that was so sick and I nursed back to health, is going to be a roo, also. Her chest is very broad and her legs are very thick. I can't take it any more!!

So, there will be two roos coming with me at least - my little nasty bantam and my beautiful splash roo. If the other ones turn on me, they'll be coming, too.

I will be looking to replace these with females if either of you will have them, thanks.

We really live pretty close. I drive down past your neck of the woods a lot on my way down Rt. 35. Actually contemplating moving to Aberdeen this coming year.

Have at it, mags! When my parents are gone, I am so outta here! I plan to move to Ithaca and have my own farm so I can host Chickenstock someday! NJ is too expensive for me!

I am off Exit 114. Are you moving for work, or is there too much traffic in SI?

Wow, I go to 114 to go to my cousins and my frinds homes!LOL My sister is in Point Pleasant.

I can't take the humanity here anymore. Really has gotten insane the past 10 years especially. And the expenses and traffic! But DH works for the city so for now it's gotta be. It'll cost us less in Aberdeen than we pay here for a lot of reasons. No school taxes for one which NJ is notorious for. Close to the city. I'll actually be comming into S.I. to work 4 days a week.
I also lived down along the shore points growing up. I am a 1/2 NY & 1/2 NJ gal.

I used to live up by Nat and now go there every summer. She's got a nice spread up there.

I hope to buy something small up there in the future for vacations and maybe retirement down the road.
