UPSTATE NY chickenstock OCT 3rd Sunday!! -The aftermath and hatching

Quote:
Been going back and forth with crunchie, she has a few roos and pullets so I'll be brokering a land deal with her pretty quickly.

Contacted bob pm style but havent heard back yet-I know hes busy and Im in no hurry-if I cant get them Im fine with that too-Im not looking for them really but I would "like them" :)

Pictures tomorrow, when they come out of the bator. I don't think we are hatching anymore after the next hatch next week. I really don't want little babies over the winter.

I'd really only like one, as I don't even have room for that, but I've always wanted one. But, I don't want to leave you hanging if you want to get rid of both. So, can we wait to see if someone else bites, and if not, I'll take both. Did that make sense?

total sense and dont worry about it I will grab one to the side for you for 25$:) yes???

Awesome! Thanks! I'm very excited!

Did I mention that in addition to your three and Gretchen's one, both the Ameraucanas I got from Karen were roos? What's up with that?

Bring empty (or full) pet carriers. A cooler, a supply of food and a small brick of shavings (like from Walmarts pet section or a garbage bag full) enough feeders and waterers for each carrier. You can transport in boxes if you wish, but harder to show birds you may want to sell. If they are unhandled they are easier to reintegrate into your flock due to lower risk for bio security so if people can see them without handling it's in your best interest. Let people know what you have to sell ahead of time to see if you have interest.

hmmm... what else... portable pens are good if you want them out at all. Gretchen had a cool set up with zipties and metal closet shelving.

This gives me a much better idea of what to anticipate! Thank you. And chicken stalker...your link helped give me a visual! I will make a list of chickens I will be bringing...this is the hardest part. I am hoping to find someone who has beautiful silkies...white/black/buff (I'm really open to any color, but those are the colors I currently have). Also, I would like to find a Black Copper roo. Chicken stalker...I will post a pic of the Blue Copper Marans.
