I have the option of pursuing a "written plan of correction" SOOOOOO needless to say I have some work to do. I am going to offer them up a chicken keeping research document the likes of which NO town has ever seen. Then I will print multiple copies and offer them for free to anyone that wants them citing public health reports, chicken keeping history, document the recent salmonella issues with large factory farms, citing food safety issues, oh they are in for it... and the dam thing will be 50 pages long... I will only cite professional journals which I have access to through my local university... ALL scientifically backed up down to the greater nutritional value of home raised eggs.

Kristen, make sure you get the report done by Mother Earth News citing the value of home- and pasture-raised eggs. There's also a lot of other articles about the value of keeping chickens on here. http://www.communitychickens.com/

Any other research you need, I can help you look it up.

I love that poster! I wonder if there is one that has vintage color. I would frame it and add it to my decor.

LOL I donate to the local food pantries, been giving free eggs and veggies to neighbors, support the school, the fire dept. I feel positively stepped on. I actually have a few tricks up my sleeves seriously in an amish neighborhood, really. I'll turn off my power and say their abusing my right to religion... my mom thinks Im kidding... Im not...

Ok enough about me. We need to get back down to BUSINESS! We got a chickenstock coming folks and we are going to have the best dang time imaginable! I cant WAIT!!!

I think I may just suck it up on the processing demo. Had a long talk with another organic farmer today about raising birds for meat. I'm getting a lot of great feedback so maybe it's time to learn.

I have the DE here. It arrived this week. and just to make you salivate THIS is one of the donated prizes for the raffle...
