Hi my name is Andrea & I live in Downtown Colorado Springs. I have been bugging my husband for about 4 years about getting chickens. This year he said ok. So we are building our coop this week (spring break) and I pick up 2 6week old Barred Rocks next Tuesday & sometime that week I will go get 3 Easter Egger chicks.
My design for a coop got expanded by my husband (he build houses for a living) because he only wants to build it once. We will have a 4'x6' coop with a 6'x6' run. I am a little afraid of our yorkie puppy will be aggressive to them.
I am very excited and I love this site... it has helped me plan for these babies.
