Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I started our chicken journey about 4 months ago and we've been using this forum as a valuable source of info along the way! I'm so excited to officially join and be a part of the gang!
We started on a whim by picking up a couple adorable little day-old chicks from the farm supply store here in town. They've grown so fast and are affectionately known as Batman and Robin. Batman is a Blue Andalusian pullet, and Robin is a Red Frizzle who we thought was also a pullet...turns out he was a little more male than we anticipated.

Well, since roosters are illegal within city limits we had to take the poor little guy to the humane society. But yesterday we acquired two new pullets about the same age as Batman and we're excited to get our little flock up and running! The new girls don't have names quite yet, but one is a Splash Blue Wyandotte and the other is a Wheaten Ameraucana! Anyways, that's my little flock in the middle of town! No eggs yet, but I expect them anytime now, as they are about 5 months old! SO excited for this adventure! I'll keep y'all posted!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. Sorry you had to get rid of Robin. Maybe you can get a Catwoman to go with Batman.) Our household likes superheroes too. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
