So....... I've got 6 great hens of which 2 are laying. They have taken to making a fair
Bit of noise some mornings. Will this noise get increasingly worse or will they
quiet down a bit once they have been laying for a while. My neighbors are good
With a bit of noise but I'm sure if it gets noisier we might have a problem. Does anybody have
Any ideas on how to work with this problem. I could keep the hens in the coop until
    Daylight but would prefer not.

the hens that I've had have always made more noise early in the morning, but after 10:00 they are fairly quiet. Its never really that bad though. Most of them will do the egg song after they lay no matter what time of day. The good thing about them being loud in the morning is most of your neighbors should be at work! [IMG]

LOL It is still less than a barking bouncing small dog though.
