Hey guys,

i'd introduce myself in a bit, however i'm having a concerning issue at the moment.
So.. i bought a baby chick about two and a half weeks ago, and it's been doing fine.

He's cute, cuddly and everyone loves the little rascal.
However about 5 minutes ago, he was just crushed by my fridge's side door.
My mom was getting something from the fridge (we own an apartment so we let him roam free and in the wild) and she forgot to check the door when she closed it, now it seems like he's hurt his left wing and foot because he's walking sideways and using his wing as a crutch. -- Will Mr. Chocobo be okay? I'd hate to lose this little fellow, he's so kind to everyone (Loved by everyone) and is really helping me from my depression.

Is there anything we can do? His mouth is wide open, stretched out neck and walking sideways (as if it crutches) -- He's not sick, he's perfectly healthy but with this incident, i am concerned.

- Derek

Edit 8:10PM -
He seemed to be a lot better as of right now, i assume the situation wasn't too grave. -- Though i'll be looking out for him for the rest of the day and tomorrow to ensure there are no additional problems.

I hope he is still ok. If you can will you send me a pic of the cute little thing. If he isn't limping any more he should be fine but you should get. Vet to look at him in case of a internal injury

Seems like his left wing is a big hurt, but we'll be keeping an eye to ensure everything is alright.

How is your chick doing?
Doing a lot better, thank you for asking.
I'll admit that his wing is oddly sticking out a bit (right one) but it doesn't seem to affect his performance in stealing our food, flying and following us around.
(I saw "stealing our food" because we keep him inside our apartment since we don't have a backyard for him.)

However overall his performance is back to normal, if not, better than before.
One thing i did notice is that he's starting to sneeze at times (mainly near me.) i think it's either the fan (we turn at night since it's hot, he sleeps in a box.) or it might mean we need to clean the dust. -- Lastly, i also noticed there's a patch of skin missing from where the incident happened, though he doesn't appear to be bothered by that.
