Hey guys, recently I bought 4 chicks from rural king, not knowing a couple weeks later i would be adopting a baby chick with a broken leg. Now the chicks are older and the baby chick is still, well, a baby. I moved the chicks from the brooder to their new coop, but the baby chick is inside our house in a box (with a heat lamp and everything) i have the assumption its lonely because it wont stop peeping. I placed a mirror in there with it but Im still super worried it could die from loneliness? Please help!

I would check craigslist to see if you can get them a friend. If that doesn't work, I would try to create her a set up in the coop with fencing of some sort, so that she can see everyone but they can't accidentally run her over.
The problem is the chick needs care for its leg and warmth

I would think you could provide everything that it needs outside as well. I would just set up a heater and enclosure out there.

What are you doing to treat the leg? Are you sure that it is a break, or does she just not walk properly?
