***URGENT*** Bowed Legged Duckling

This is what you need and can be easily found at Tractor Supply. 1 ml over something that is a treat so he gets all of it. I wouldn't put it in the water because in my opinion, it gets too diluted and he needs to get all of it.

That and they spill 90% of their water.

Thank you everyone. I use woodchips as bedding. I ace wrapped his legs, the medicine should be here tomorrow. He actually seems to be doing better today but it's still noticeable. I will update it once he starts the medicine. I think he's young enough to fix it.

Hi I’ve been reading a lot about bowed legs and enlarged hock joints because my ducks are having the same issue. I’m a new owner and wanted to know if getting niacin and vitamin b3 will have the same effect if we get it from the pharmacy ? My ducks are only 2 and a half weeks old and we just noticed about a couple days ago this happened wanted to know if there’s anything you suggest? It’s not too late for them to change right? I posted about it on my account but haven’t had any luck with replies and I’m getting really worried.

Hi you really need the liquid b complex. If you go to the first page of this thread you will see a picture of it. This product is very concentrated and has helped a lot of ducklings recover from this problem. You can make a small amount of a soupy mesh and give it to them that way or over a favorite treat. Each duckling should be getting about 1 ml a day of this.

it is not to late to help your ducklings as many ducklings don’t seem to show this problem until between 2-4 weeks old this is when they start putting on weight and sometimes their little legs arenot getting enough to help them keep up. This is helping greatly by the liquid b injectable complex. It is given orally.
