URGENT DUCK DISEASE HEAD PARALYZED

I came home from school and found one duck in the water dirty, wet, and tilting her neck sideways about to drown. I took her in and he legs are straight behind. My mom can move them but she can’t herself. She’s breathing hard shallow and fast with elevated heart rate. We have put her in hot water and are now blow drying. My mom thinks she ate banana roots but all the others are fine. Everything about her is very limp. Is it poison, a disease? IDK please help

Actualy, Is her lower back area always to puffed up? Ide feel her over for a tick or a wound

Hawks and eagles and stuff have huge long sharp tallons that can peirce and leave little marks. Just grasping at straws
