Urgent: Duck w/ injured eyes and bill! What to do?!

Piper now stays in the pen by himself, and seems quite content. Though he doesn't get in the water unless put in the tub, he walks around, digging (the way ducks do) and eating and drinking on his own. The pus has nearly gone away.

Thank you all for your help!

I am learning so much about birds from reading these threads! Hopefully I'll be ready for any mishaps that may occur once I get my ducklings. Dutchgirl, did you end up using the injectable Pen-G or did you just treat topically with Terramycin and saline? Thanks to you all for this wealth of information. I have a veterinary background in small animal medicine (was a tech - worked with mostly dogs and cats) and was uncertain about how I would deal with duck emergencies, but these threads are helping me feel much more confident in my abilities. You guys are the best! Hope your duck continues to improve!
