Urgent!!! Found Duckling!!

You can try giving little one lettuce or spinach leas cut into 1/4" pieces...if it is only a day or so old it will not be hungry anyway. Just put his food there dry and sprinkle the dandelions or lettuce on top of it...he will get the idea when he gets hungry.

What does it look like? I found a wood duck several years back and took it to some people who had a goose who had just had goslings and she adopted it. They people said it grew up, and then took off with the wild ducks in their pond. I live in Valdez, Alaska and we see quite a few wood ducks around town with their ducklings. Good luck with the little guy! Do you know anyone here in Alaska that has runner duck eggs for hatching? My new incubator is in the mail and I want to try it out?
