Urgent Help!- Lethargic Duck

Well that makes sense. I'm located in Minnesota and it is getting into the colder months. she hasn't been laying hardly at all and I have noticed some feathers in their pen. I will definitely give her some vitamins. Thanks!
Wisconsin here! Hopefully that is your answer! :fl Best of luck!

Unfortunately we found her dead this morning. I need help trying to figure out what the heck happened. No injuries, no fluid around nose, eyes closed and slouched like she fell asleep. She laid an egg last night.

I don’t think we will do that, but we will be doing a deep clean of the duck house to make sure no fungus or bacteria is around that might have been the cause of her death, so my other ducks don’t get it as well. Anyone who says animals don’t have emotion should see how ticked off the other ducks were when they saw us pick her up. We’ll be burying her under one of our trees, because she was one of our favorite, most loved pets. Thank you for your help, even though in the end we both didn’t know what to do.:hugs

I understand. Many people like to send them to the state vet for a necropsy to ensure that whatever happened will not affect the rest of the flock. I truly hope this was just an awful fluke and that the rest of your flock will be fine :hugs
