Urgent help needed with incubator eggs..

hello, just a quick post. I am currently hatching 7 eggs in our incubator and the first time i did this all 7 eggs hatched fine. But ever since then the first egg hatches fine which happened this morning but the membranes of the other eggs that have pipped look very dry.. i haven't opened the incubator.. i know this will effect the other chicks from hatching but is there anything i can do.. Thanks..

Im no expert, but it sounds like your humidity is too low. Do you know what it is?

no i dont it just says to fill up the water pot 2 days before hatching which i did..

Be careful not to open the incubator when chicks are out. Really it shouldn't be open until the hatch is over, but if you have to open it, you might add a wet sponge or wash cloth, or fill up your water receptacle.

you should be able to slip a wet sponge or paper towel in pretty quick.....I dont think it should cause much of an issue
