If one leg is bad, you still want to tape them together. Make sure, they are taped at the same length. This is the only way to get that one leg, in the right place for a couple of days.

Tape it how as if I tape the bad one to the good it will still be inwards won't it? Which is the current problem or is this to stop it going behind? Do you mean tie it like round the thigh or knee or lower leg above foot? And tight so neither foot moves or loose?

Been to the vets with a chick and been told he has the opposite to sprayed legs. The vet said to leave him to see if he learns to stand or walk. Is this is best thing to do don't want to leave it too late if there is something I can dos the chick is 5 days old, eating and drinking if I hold him as he can't stand. The vet said if he doesn't improve in a week to cull him but I want to make sure I've tried everything first

There are many different leg bone disorders in poultry including varu/valgus disorder, tibial dyschondroplasia, and others. Many of these can cause a slipped tendon. Yes, here are some photos..may help. You will need to twist the leg into the right position and be straight with the other. The other leg does help hold it straight when taped.

Ok I can try I did make a make shift hobble before but his bad leg kept making the good one end up behind me does that matter as long as it's straight?

Would a splint on the outside of the leg help to to try keep the leg pulled out rather than slipping under her?

I have looked a lot of older threads about slipped tendons, and in reading them you may get some ideas on how others have treated them. Is this ok space wise on hobble as any further and he slips his leg under and behind.

I think that is a great place to start. After 2-3 days, remove it and reapply it if the legs will come closer together.
