I do keep a few chickens, but there seem to be many just roaming around, on the mountain where' I live.
Found this chicken yesterday.
Its young, unsure of the sex , but possibly female from the waddle and coomb.
It's eyes are shut, and looks like spots on eyelids, the eyes for sure are swollen. Its mainly puffed up, it's poop almost non existent.
It was put in the cage last night. I put some electrolytes, in case of shock.

My gut says infectious croyza? But I've never seen eyes like this before.
It's also doing an occasional chin up open mouth breathing. But not every breath.

I have doxlax
Respirax

Honestly it's poop is throwing me.

I don't want to start doxy and then people come back saying cociadosis and it needs sulfa.
Because then it might be too late.

Please help

Where are you located in the world?

To me the scabby eyes looks like Fowl Pox which is a virus . What does the inside of her beak look like? Any lesions?
Does she have a bad odor?

The poop doesn't look good. You mention using a Sulfa drug to treat Coccidiosis, so I'm going on the assumption you aren't in the US? If possible, getting a fecal float would be best to find out if there's an overload of Coccidia, worms or if the poop looks like that due to dehydration and not eating.

I would also make sure her crop is emptying overnight. With the eyes shut like that you may have to hand or tube feed her.

hi,
I'm British, but living in Asia.
It drank the dextrose water and eats.but difficult seeing the food.
Theres no real paultry vets here. So basically it's me. And you guy's.

Its puffed up. Eyes closed.
I use a syringe and drop water on its beak and it drinks like dehydrated. And then eats a little.

Ill open its beak and check. Its crop looks big.
I took pictures.
No bad smell
Its crop seems a little hard.
So I've added coconut oil to the water and water and coconut oil to it's feed

Shall I start it on antibiotics? Respirax

there is a difference between wet and dry pox. I wonder if the educators are sleeping ! Its 2 am where I am. The best I can tell you is to look for wet pox because it seems to me like antibiotics will help. I wish I could be more helpful.

It looks viral to me also.
Massage that crop and get it to empty. Coconut oil is your friend and if she has an impacted crop, you need to get it to dump. That could very well be the reason for being smaller or malnourished. Feed her nutidrench/ hydro-hen or look up a recipe for an electrolyte water for her. Get her to also drink the electrolyes, Vit B and Vit E.
Feed her scrambled egg, yogurt with some feed in it to
Check for pasty bitt too. That could be liquid oozing around stuck poop or a stuck egg. At first when I looked at the pictures up close, I thought it also hand mites/Lice. Make sure you check for the parasites.
I'd feed her scrambled eggs and get some plain yogurt and put feed in it to soften.
She is lucky to have found you.

Have electrolytes with vits since last night. Took her off it for water and coconut oil.

I'll do a mash of scrambled eggs garlic tumeric and ginger and coconut oil for some anti virals.
And I'll get her on ginger and garlic water also.
I'll massage the crop.

I'll also rub a mix of neem oil and coconut oil for paracites
Later tonight back on electrolytes.

Tomorrow I'll start doxlax or respirax.

Its in a bad way.

Thanks everyone.
