My duck was supposed to hatch yesterday. I cancelled it today to find out what was happening and saw the membrane was yellowy and the duck hadn't internally pipped. What should I do!!! Do I help it or not? How should I help it?

Yes, sorry! I set it 4 Fridays ago (29 days)
Humidity 75%
Temp 36c

The humidity has been like that for just the last few days, not all through incubation, correct? What breed of duck is this?

Besides looking out for bruising on the other parts of the shell, there isn't much you can do if the duckling hasn't internally pipped. I'm a bit confused, how can you tell the membrane color by candling the egg? Are you sure it was yellow?

They are Pekins. It was at 55% but I raised it on the last few days. I saw it last night be red, then clear and now yellow inside the egg.

I do apologize for all the questions, but it does help us, help you better. I hope you understand.

How does the air cell look, big, or small? Do you hear any peeping, or movement in the egg? Incubation starts 24 hours after you set, so day 29 would be tomorrow.

The air cell is larger than when I put it in. I don't hear any peeping whatsoever. There is no movement I can see. I'm sorry! I'm a first-time hatcher!
