I would recommend an assisted hatch since he probably is malpositioned. It's time consuming and sometimes kinda delicate, but it helps.

You might want to consider adding a salt tested humidity gauge in your bator for next time.
And lowering the humidity some.

No. As long as the chick is making progress you do not need to assist, imo.
