Please help, my 6 month old silkie roo has been sick for over a week, I’ve been giving medicated crumble, Nutri-drench, electrolytes, tried monostat, currently trying VetRX respiratory infection medication. Buying Thiamine and treating for vitamin deficiency today.

Been getting thinner. Was hatched with 4 others and none of the others are showing any symptoms.

Super sleepy, wasn’t eating at all but now wants to eat at least, I guess that’s some improvement, but his accuracy and balance is super off, he can’t find food and water. I vaccinated for mereks when a chick(I’m not a pro vaccinator but symptoms also don’t line up with mereks). No blood in poop either so not super lined up with corrid, watery poop, was some green and a stick in poop when I first started helping him. He sounds terrible now, he talks to me but his voice sounds like he’s sick, the noise is a raspy whine. I’m guessing it’s difficiency and respiratory infection at this point but want more help. What can I give him to treat this infection other than the VETRX stuff, it says to apply 6 times a day but I cannot possibly with work. I am trimming around his eyes and using the respiratory oil to move hair from his eyes for better vision. He has a lot of pin feathers still though and I am afraid to cut them. I believe he can be saved but I don’t have a vet that specializes in birds in my area and I think he needs an actual antibiotics treatment possibly.

Following as my pullet is like this nearly to the T.

Have you checked him for mites? Its what I'm sure caused my pullet to decline so badly. She was covered. I treated her as best I could, but she's still off acting. Hopefully with extra love and care our birds will bounce back!
