Urgent help

One my silkies just hatched and there’s a thick long bloody thing hanging at the end of its but!!!!! Someone please help

That might be an organ that developed outside of the body.This has happened to my chicks before twice,but neither survived.After it dries I would separate it from the others.Keep it warm.I wouldn’t count on this little guy making it.Good luck!

Pretty much. If it were me I’d just cull it, but maybe others will know better

Most stuff seems to say it’s hopeless.If you aren’t able to euthanize it (which I totally understand,I know I couldn’t) I would just try to make it comfortable.

I just went to a out of hours vets and had it put down , absolutely in tears

Was horrible didn’t think I would cry so much , poor baby , it’s life had only just started
