Urgent!!! How long can my bobwhite quail go without water??

I have 2 1 week old bobwhite quail. I recently changed their drinking tray. I am really obsessed to know if they are drinking or not but I cant really tell. It's been 5hrs since the change and they are still super lively. Do you think everything is well? How long can they go without water? They are 1 week old. Tks

I'm not really sure about their exact tolerance for not having water but I usually tap the water or food until they come to investigate and try it out themselves. Good luck!

I would mark the water line with a piece of tape or safe marker and check back later to see if the water level is below where you marked. Usually they'll find it fine. That's how mine were. Good luck!
