Hey guys,

We have come home today and jenny out khaki Campbell drake is holding his leg up against him. He is sitting down whenever he can. And when he stands up he holds his foot up as if it is all shriveled up. I will post a photo. Im just running him a luke warm bath now so he can float and relax..
But apart from that I really don't know what else to do for him? We have felt all up his legs and pressed down and he hasn't made a sound or anything... So we can't even figure out where the pain is coming from. :(
Please help

He has been In the bath and not used his leg at all, just kept it tucked up under his wing. When I get him out I will test if one foot is hotter... Also, he is normally the more skittish one, but he is very cuddly at the moment and not making any fuss at all with us holding him. I'm worried!!

They aren't going to show you it hurts.
Check it over, look for bite marks or anything else not normal. If you see nothing and feel nothing, you can bring to a vet or you can confine him for a couple of days and then re-evaluate.
Is he eating/drinking?

You can also use an Epsom salt compress - it is anti inflammatory and helps resolve sprains and pulls, draws out toxins, all kinds of good things. Don't let him drink the solution it is a laxative, too!

But I would use the E.s. compress three times a day if you can manage it. A vet is always (with rare weird exception) best.

And if it were me, I would put just a dab of Traumeel on the foot and leg. Work it in well.

You can decide whether you want to use that.
