Chickens are definitely a learning process! There is definitely a lot to learn about them. They are also wonderful pets.
... I love my flock dearly... but sometimes things just happen... Animals get sick and die because this world is imperfect and broken. All you can do is take care of them as well as you are able. It hurts sometimes... but it's totally worth it.
