My hen has become crop bound but still is eating. She is making movements with her head as if she is trying to push it down.
I don't know how long she has been crop bound for but i only noticed properly yesterday.
She is not a energetic as the others and stands round a bit more but still eats and drinks.

What shall i do PLEASE

I dealt with a similar experience 2 weeks back. My six year old hen was snaking her neck around in a strange manner and after an hour or two of that started shaking her head with quick shakes. Up to then I had never dealt with crop problems so I quickly came on here to look for advice...After reading many post I too suspected crop issues. Thankful she was still eating and drinking. I made her some scrambled eggs and mixed monostat cream in it. I was planning on massaging her crop but since she was showing improvement by the hour I decided not to. I was amazed that by that evening all symptoms were gone. I should mention that during all of this my flock was being treated with safeguard because week prior I found my girls gapping and was concerned that they had gape worm since they consume lots of worm snakes and worm snakes eat primarily earthworms. I thought maybe my hen developed crop issue because I recently started putting cut grass clippings in run which her system may not have been use to.. even though I keep grit available at all times or maybe it was the gape worms getting stuck?? Soon someone with more chicken expertise will respond with some more detailed advice on how to care for your hen. Best wishes! :hugs
