My chics are hatching now. Story short. I unplugged the bator to use the plug on thwe other side of dresser so I could plug in a new lamp. it was unplugged for 5 seconds. pluged it in....and nothing WHat the heck. does the transformer need to cool donw? Why wont she work it was just working.........

The top needs to remain on to keep the right humidity or the chicks will not hatch. If you have a glass top, I would place a heat lamp over it and hope that it heats it back up again. I have never done this before, but it's worth a try until you figure out how to get the incubator working again. Does the wall socket still work or is it the incubator?

What kind of bator is it? How long has it been out? Is it working yet?
