Urgent Need

Is she shaking or shivering?
Originally she was. Their shed is somewhat insulated but it is still in the 20's outside. I figured she had lost so much weight, she wasn't handling the cold. So I brought her in the house and set her up in a closet in the basement. She hasn't shivered since. I can't say if she did when my husband brought her out to be with the other chickens. But she's back inside and warm again.

Though not as much, she is still clacking her beak.

She's likely dehydrated. I would work on giving her drops of sugar water.

Look her over really well for any injuries hidden underneath her feathers. Hawks hit hard. I've seen it happen, it's almost like they dive bomb the chicken so she may be suffering from internal bruising or injury.

Once you get her stabilized and hydrated. Work on taking a good look at her eye.

She's eating a bit more but is totally blind. I don't know how she can't see out of her good eye. Maybe the hawk pierced something under her comb thru to a nerve. Regardless, she can't see. I'm afraid we can't rescue her. If she is blind she can't find her way to the food or water or laying or anything. I've been personally feeding her but that's not sustainable. I think it's time to let her go before she suffers. Thank you for everyone's help.

When I went down to her today to say goodbye, she was walking around with both eyes open. (We had put neosporin on her bad eye the day before at someone's recommendation) She couldn't see but was feeling around with her beak. The weird thing is both eyes look normal now, but she can't see. She ate a mashed berry mixture I gave her. She didn't drink much then. But once she figured out she could find her bowl by feeling around with her beak, she readily drank the sugar water. She's pooped a few times since feeding her. I couldn't let my husband do anything. Not sure what to do now. My husband feels she can't fend for herself if she can't see and it's not sustainable for us to keep her in the house and care for her.
