Urgent! please help male with prolapse!!!

Okay, great. You're doing great. Don't give him anything to eat so he doesn't have anything to poop. It's night and he doesn't need food and water anyway, turn off the lights and let him rest. You guys get some rest too. :hugs
I agree, yall need to get some rest. He needs to have a few stress free hours to sleep. *hugs* You too, so you can take care of him when he wakes up in the morning.

thank you, and you should all get some rest I appreciate this more than you know. I have been really stressed. I am so attached and worried for him. my mom is super attached and worried too. have a good night.
You're very welcome, that's what we do here. One big family. Keep your chin up, and let us know how he is doing in the morning, and post pictures so the pros here can help.

We just got home and noticed our male's butt was red. We took a closer look and has what we think it is prolapse. He was our first ever button and we really love him. We gave him a warm bath and have been trying to push it back in. The stuff that pooped out Is HUGE! It is almost as if his vent is too tiny for it to go back in. We love him so dearly and wouldn't want to lose him. We keep trying to push it in and it looks like the things are going to pop and that would be bad! Plese help!
How is he doing?
You have gotten some good suggestions.
How old is he?
Please post some photos of his vent and poop when you can.
Sounds like he may be constipated, I agree get him hydrated, he needs to be drinking. You can give him a little coconut oil or mineral oil to see if that helps relieve him.

Sometimes it may take a little while for swelling to go down in order for prolapsed tissue to go back in. Just keep the exposed tissue moist with your ointment like you are doing.

Keep us posted.

Good morning. He made it through the night and he is very active. I will get some photos soon. The tissues are still being exposed. don't know what to do what happens if it dries out?

It doesn't look good but it was way worse yesterday it is drying out should I keep putting the ointment on or put warm water on?

We have been checking on Tuxy. (His name is Tuxy) And the tissues are still exposed I don't know what else we can do because the bulge will not go in and it looks like it is drying we keep putting ointment on it and we tried pushing it in with a q-tip but it feels really hard and it's like it's too hard or big to go in. Anything else we can do?
