URGENT! Please help!

That's great. I just put eggs under my broody two days ago so I'm just hoping she'll stay broody. need to switch her after I know she is good with the setting.

I hope it goes well! I have loved the experience so far! (most of it anyways) My 2 have been very insistent, not that I have argued with them. I love when my hens go broody. I was afraid that my BO (the one with 9 eggs due on the 6th) would not make a good broody because the first day she swapped nests all day! She finally chose one, though, and has been very faithful about staying on it. Hopefully she will be a good mommy! The other hen is a mutt EExBO. She went broody while I was away from home, so I don't know exactly when she's due, but she gets up every morning to eat and drink. She doesn't stay with her eggs as well as the BO does. I hope she's a more faithful mama than she is setter.

BTW I just unwrapped the chick after candling him again and he is most certainly dead. He was as beautifully formed as his brother/sister so hopefully that means her other 9 eggs are just as beautiful and perfect.
