Urgent Poop Question - Updated - Positive for Coccidia

Yesterday I began treating for Coccidia because I felt it in my gut that they were sick.

Today, the results from their fecal float came back positive for cocci. They're getting Corid now. Question: can you give them yogurt while they're on Corid to help with their little digestive tracks? I know the Corid is hard on them, I want them to be as comfortable as possible.

Also, what is the standard procedure for clearing the cocci from their habitat? I moved them out to the coop today, because they're just too big for the brooder. Will I have to sterilize the coop and run now? Your advice is very much appreciated, thanks!

In the end.. you can't ever really get rid of cocci short of raising your birds up on wire their whole lives. Just because they tested positive for cocci, doesn't mean it was at a critical level. Chicks grow up and gain an immunity to the protozoa so as adults, they can carry it in their guts without any issue. If the birds are not lethargic, I don't worry about the cocci thing as it's not at a high enough level to be actually harming the birds. It is EVERYWHERE in the PNW. Wild birds spread it, our moist dirt stores the eggs, and chickens are bound to eat some up.
