Hooray!! I would keep her quiet and in a dark place for a bit, let her rest. Hopefully the next one is smaller and easier on her. I would keep an eye on her though, hopefully no repeat. So glad she finally passed it.

Yay!!! I'm glad the egg is out and your girl is feeling better. Do you give her high protein food or meal worms? I was looking up how many meal worms I can give my hens yesterday and figured out I'm giving them too many. The extra protein causes their eggs to be larger. I think she'll be fine now.
OHHHH YES!!!! She did it!!! I'm so glad I didn't have to do anything that would harm her or kill her. She looks relieved and the egg came out intact. Is there anything else I need to do for her today.\? Should I keep her inside and keep an eye on her or give her any antibiotics? I always have doxy on hand for these reasons. Thank y'all for the help!!! I'm so proud of her!!
She does eat her fair share of oyster shells and I keep a cup of it in her area. I have them in cups everywhere. I'm happy to say she is still doing very well!Lots of things can contribute to egg binding, she may just be prone to it due to the large eggs she lays. Make sure her diet is balanced, with no more than 10% of it being anything other than chicken feed. Make sure feed is fresh, vitamins deteriorate with time. Make sure you have oyster shell available all the time free choice in a separate feeder so they can take what they need. This may help: https://www.thehappychickencoop.com/egg-bound-chicken/
