Please help me. My chick is very weak. She can't stand for long and hasn't eaten. Came out of the incubator this afternoon. I've given her some honey water and a bit of yolk. Is there anything else I can do for her? She's gotten a bit better since but not enough. I don't think she'll survive unless I do something for her.

I'm sorry your chick isn't thriving but some of them just don't make it no matter what you do.
Does she have a heat source?

Yes, I know that. I've already lost 2 chicks from this hatch because they were weak but I couldn't open the incubator and risk the loss of the rest of the eggs. I'm hoping to keep this one alive if I can.

She does have a heat lamp in the brooder. The other 5 chicks are in there as well so she is being kept in a box to separate. Right now she is in with me while I'm making sure she gets yolk and water. She will be going back out as soon as she's done. I know she'll be better off in the brooder but having the lid up while trying to save her was making the other chicks cold. I'd rather loose one than the whole lot. I've made the room really warm while she's in here too.
