The only corid I can find to treat my chicks is labeled for calves, is it ok for my chicks in the right amounts??? Please hurry becuase I have already lost one and I don't want any more to pass away!!! :(

The dosage of powder is 1/2 teaspoonful per 1 gallon water, and the liquid is 2 teaspoonsful/gallon water. Mix new each day, give for 5-7 days.

If you use the liquid 9.6% solution, the dosage is 2 teaspoons per gallon of water. Make it daily. Give it for 5 to 7 days.

Oh my gosh thank you so much!!!! I am going at like six am tommorow to get it from the store :) praying no little ones pass before I can get it :/

Thanks I found out that they should be ok because they have amprolium in their food and we are going to move them outside so that they don't get as many chances to eat food that got into poop :) I think they will be ok nobody died last night and we just switched them to this so hopefully we will have no more casualties.

The food will not help if they are dying. You still need to treat or you will lose more. The food only has a low dose to help them build up immunity. If they get too heavy a load of the protozoan that causes illness, they will start dying. You need to treat with Corrid if you suspect your chicks are dying from Coccidiosis. It will not hurt them to treat but they will continue to die if you do not treat. Good luck!

Thanks I just can't seem to find it any were and they are starting to look better now that I have given them some grit so maybe that is helping I am just running out of places to look for the corid
