Alabama ee...I just bugged my husband into building me a coop. I helped but I'll tell you, I'm a strong girl but putting in all those screws and operating that darned saw is hard work...
If you can buy the materials and bribe someone into doing it for you I'd highly recommend it!!!!!

Although I kinda have the skills to build my own coop, I work a lot and didn't want to sacrifice the time (I'm a slow builder) so I picked a design and hired a handyperson to do it. made in the USA and supported the local economy. It worked out great and it was easy to customize a few things.
