USDA Scraps NAIS Program!!! (moderator please move needed)

Just got an email from the ALBC that the USDA is scrapping the NAIS program and will be replacing it with a program yet to be named that will be more friendly to the small farmer. The new program will be only for animals moved across state lines, other animals will not need to be monitored.

Who wonders what this might mean for NPIP? Anyone know?
 
There have been numerous threads on this same subject in the last few days as Katy stated.
