I've heard quails can get diseases very easily from chickens, and they shouldn't be kept together, but I've also heard a lot of people use chickens to hatch quails, since quails don't' get broody. How does that work? Won't the newly hatched quail chicks get sick?

I'm not sure about disease and sickness but quail eggs are VERY small and I'd be worried about them being crushed. Also I've had a friend say that since they're different species they "speak different languages" which sounds odd but also makes sense in a way? I'm not sure how a chicken would feel about it, although take that second part with a grain of salt ;D

Most people just use incubators for quail, especially with them growing so fast it's fairly easy ^^ unless you're really lucky and blessed with a coturnix who will brood :O

And about disease I find that false... I have had quail with my chickens for about a year and I’ve never lost 1 of them to disease from my chickens. They’re hardier than chickens in my opinion and also better layers 😂

Well I dont have a chicken anyways, I was just wondering because I heard a lot of different things that don't make sense together. 😅
