Use metal conduit instead of lumber to frame light-weight metal roof?

Just an observation . . . I'd be concerned about rain run-off making the entrance a damp and muddy mess. We get a lot of rain here, so I'm always thinking about where it'll end up. You could keep the roof idea, but maybe move the door to one of the narrower ends, or have a second door just incase.

I would definitely use lumber as this will have to be tied in to the main structures roof for run off.
Slant style or you could frame it having 2 valleys to divert most water off the run roof. (3 way run off)

Good point, and I have decided to slant the roof from front to back, with good-sized overhang in front and a gutter on the back, draining into a rain barrel. Thanks!
