Aloha, I'm looking for anyone who has out grown their Brinsea Mini Advance Incubator. I'm looking to start a very small flock, I already have one hen who I think is almost a year old and one rooster fully grown. My hen has shown very little interest in brooding so I want an incubator on stand by for when my eggs get here. Which will be some time mid to late August. Originally I was going to build an incubator but I'm pretty forgetful, my partner even more so, and I work. So I can't guarantee remembering to turn the eggs, but I can set alarms to remind me to fill the water tank when I'm home.
I would just feel so much better about this if the element of human error was reduced. I would be heart broken if my new babies all died because I can't remember to turn them!! Remembering to feed a bunch of hungry peepers is far easier than remembering to turn silent eggs! All that being said, I have a paypal account and would be willing to pay for shipping and $50 for the incubator. So if you've out grown your Brinsea Mini Advance Incubator, or anything of similar size and function I would happily take it off your hands and send you some mulah. My conscience and my other chickens would be forever grateful.
