I am looking at purchasing a used Hova-Bator 1588 Genesis series from craigslist. They say it is in good working order and hold temp and humidity. And they also stated it was only used for 47 days. It does not come with packaging and possibly no manual. What are some things I should look for and be aware of when buying used? Any major red flags I should look for? And what would be a fair price?

First you need to see it running

There are too models - the older version and newer one. Both are good.

Fair price? 60% of retail. so anything under 100 bucks is a bargain

Thanks, just plug it in for a few minutes? Because I have to meet them halfway. And how do you tell the difference between the older and newer model? Plan on meeting them Thursday if all goes well so any advice helps!

if meeting half way then either use a 12v plug - they are a 12v machine., an inverter to increase to 110 or blind faith.

I dont have pics of the differnt machines sorry
