Thanks all.
I have searched some of the sites for the state about the avian flu and how to prevent. But it looks like it will just be one of things that is a lot out of control. We can't seem to figure out how to keep the girls away from ALL wild birds. Their pen is covered so arial predators are restricted. There is a heavy chainlink fence and we lock them in securely as soon as dusk comes. So fingers crossed, I guess we are doing all we can.
