Well, I think my flock may have been infected. One of my hens was dead yesterday. Three more today and two who look down for the count. I tried to find out how to report this but the State agent I think I'm supposed to report to is gone out of the office for the weekend. Not sure what to do at this point. My flock free ranges (within a fenced in area) but is is shared with 3 ducks, 2 of whom fly out and into a pond that is visited by wild fowl. I am assuming this is how it was transmitted to my chickens, although none of the ducks seems to have been effected...yet.

I've reached out to the farmers markets we participate in and asked them to put out a notice to other members but, other than that, I'm not sure what, if anything, I can do until Monday. :/
