) ago, I entered a natiponwide contest, StoryTubes (www.storytubes.info). Basically (if you didn't already click on the link) you make a video book review of your fave book and submit it to this site. Then a bunch of librartians pick the finalists. After that the finalists are open to public vote. I was the only kid to have 2 entries (my ONLY entries) picked as finalists. Their names were Journey to the River Sea and Your Chickens: A Kid's Guide to Raising and Showing. Now, Journey was up first and I didn't win the public vote. Then came Your Chickens. I asked the wonderful, helpful people on BYC (you guys rock

) to vote for me. (Search StoryTubes on the Seach function. Like 5 other people asked for me. You guys DOUBLY rock

) Guess what? I WON! So I got $500 worth of Scholastic books and my library got $1,000 of the same. So some nice, nice mod (not sure who...) decided I got a special title!

Mine is a nickname from an ex-cohabitator. NC for North Carolina, my name is Nancy,and gnance is a play on spelling, like gnu, or gnat.I know, his sense of humor is weird, but we're still the best of friends.

b is my first initial, marsh is my last name and GU (Gonzaga University) is the school I attend. I started using it when I would try and get user names under bmarsh and they were already taken.

My username is a play on the word psittacine which refers to parrots, so psittizen(citizen) shikkin (think that's self explanatory)

mine is piecemaker I quilt and make mosaic glass windows and signs. The kids would call and ask what I was doing I would always say just cuttin' pieces (for a quilt) or just making glass pieces (for mosaic) so I'm a piecemaker The Texas flag on my avatar is the second one I made.

TICKS= I am ticks (yes the bugs) worst enemy. But yet they are drawn to my sweet blood. I have had 20+ ticks within 10 + months. October is month 12 , we will have to wait and see.
